Americans, Iraqis Discuss War: Davidson College, May 11, 2003

Back to Viewpoint

Two Abu Dhabi Television special programs, hosted by AAI President James Zogby, brought together Americans and Iraqis together via satellite to talk about the effects of war.

In the first post-war televised event linking Iraqis and Americans, Davidson College students talked to Baghdad residents about the aftermath of the war and the future of Iraq. The show aired on Abu Dhabi TV May 11, and was co-hosted by Zogby and ADTV’s Jaber Obaid.

This was a follow-up to a program aired just days before the outbreak of war, in which students at Davidson College in North Carolina talked to students at the University of Baghdad on a special episode of “Viewpoint” with James Zogby, “Davidson and Baghdad: Student to Student.”

“Viewpoint is one-hour live policy program that airs weekly on Abu Dhabi TV and WorldLinkTV, and is seen by millions of people in the Middle East, Europe, Africa and North America.
